Yasir Dora.
Germany-based Multidisciplinary Filmmaker, Designer & Visual Anthropologis
working at the intersection of digital filmmaking, design, and visual anthropology, with a foundation in social science that enables me to explore how digital media influences our perception of reality. My practice centers on interactive multimedia design, specializing in documentary practices and the emerging forms of digital mediation—nonlinear narrative structures that audiences can engage through multiple perspectives.
I approach my creative practice through the lens of visual anthropology, a framework that transcends traditional disciplines and is not only generative in creating new content but also reflective in critically evaluating its relevance and impact, further enabling me to remain critically engaged with how emerging technologies like artificial intelligence are reshaping media and forms of communication.
This integrated methodology informs my process, from initial research to final design and audiovisual production, grounding every decision in an understanding of the audience and producing work that is accessible and strategically effective.
I welcome collaboration to bring intricate concepts to life through interactive design or film. Let's connect.
